This policy describes the processing of personal data through the WorkMobile Mecom Android application (package name com.mecomsrl.workmobile), published on Google Play by the MeskaTech developer account on behalf of Me.co.m. S.r.l. (“Mecom”). It is specific to the app and supplements Mecom's general Privacy Policy.
The data controller is Me.co.m. S.r.l., Via dell'Industria 8/10, 35012 Camposampiero (PD), Italy. Privacy requests may be sent to or made by calling +39 049 5793615.
WorkMobile Mecom is a business tool restricted to authorized employees and contractors. It provides access to Mecom operational services, including warehouse and production activities, work information, code scanning, and the submission of photographs or reports when required by the selected function.
The app may use the camera or allow image selection only following a user action. It does not access precise device location and does not use personal data for advertising or commercial profiling.
Data is processed to authenticate users, provide operational functions, ensure service security and continuity, provide support, diagnose errors, and comply with organizational and legal obligations. Processing is based on the employment or contractor relationship, applicable legal obligations, and Mecom's legitimate interest in securing and operating its systems.
Data is accessible only to authorized Mecom personnel and technical providers acting on Mecom's behalf where needed for hosting, maintenance, error monitoring, and support. These parties are bound by confidentiality and, where applicable, appointed as processors under Article 28 GDPR. Mecom does not sell personal data, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers.
Data is retained for as long as required for operational, security, and legal purposes. Access tokens are stored in the device's protected storage and communications with Mecom systems use encrypted connections. Diagnostic logs are retained only as needed to investigate and resolve issues. When authorization ends, access is revoked and data is deleted or anonymized in accordance with company rules and applicable obligations.
Users can revoke optional permissions, such as camera and image access, in Android settings. This may disable only the functions that require the relevant permission. Users may also sign out to remove the local access token.
Where provided by the GDPR, data subjects may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability by writing to . A complaint may also be filed with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
The app is intended exclusively for authorized business users and is not directed to children.
